The Gardener Path teaches how software and AI systems are built, using one running metaphor: a garden. You start in the soil (the basics) and work up through the layers of a real system, and along the way you will shape a real project of your own and learn to present it well.

How it works: every lesson has a short video, a plain-words explanation with sources and further reading, and a few questions. Score 80 percent or more and the lesson is marked mastered. Score lower and it shows up under “where to focus next”, so you always know what to review. Everything is free, and your progress and scores are saved in your browser so you can stop and pick up where you left off.
